To blog or not to blog

For several reasons, I've gone back on forth on my decision to blog. In fact this is the second blogspot account that I've created for myself in the past couple of years, as I lost track of my first one.

Browsing the net for aphorisms and epigrams, I came across this one from Oscar Wilde.
Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. - Oscar Wilde
It touched a raw nerve, as one of the factors that kept me from blogging was the lack of originality of content that we normally see in blogosphere.

The fascinating aspect about this one from Wilde is that, it conveys a message that is more powerful that what meets the eye. While on one hand, this adage touches upon the susceptibility of the majority, on the other hand, it serendipitously exposes the fact that originality is a rather shallow egoisitic perspective toward ownership of creative content. In a world where energy is neither created nor destroyed, but is only transferred from one form to the other, it is important to keep in mind, that creativity is a form of energy as well.

That being said, I shall begin blogging now, without any second thoughts!
